Staying focused took me to a better place

The haters talk but i can't hear what they say

The bad days came but the good days are better

The dark clouds there but they dont stay forever

I realised in time that the hard days made me better

Struggle made me stronger, made me better, forever

What's life if you can't enjoy the journey 

Forever grateful for the lessons that i'm learning

Going for my dreams, it's always worth it

I'm giving my all everyday, i put my work in everyday

I prove im worth it, everyday im steady learning

Trying to improve, so deep down i can say that i deserve it 

I deserve it, just look how far i've come

Onwards and upwards, forever going up

What happened in the past will always matter,

but that's history and im literally a different person now

A better me, a stronger me, wiser now, smarter now

I was always falling but i turned it around

Moving forwards, aiming higher, breaking down barriers

Doing what they said i wouldn’t do

Onwards and upwards to a better view

Moving to a bigger room

Yeah there's always room for improvement

I'm working on being a better person

I'm working on being better than the best me

You walk different when you walk with a purpose

I might not be perfect but i stay true to being me

I really got it out of the mud they thought i was stuck in

This is hard work, this ain't luck

I'm just proud that i'm getting better

Sometimes there's stormy weather but the dark clouds never last forever.
